This is a Gantt chart of a project that I will be overseeing during the Farley Nuclear Plant refueling outage 2R20. We are replacing the vital AC battery chargers. The work during the outage is tracked to the minute and we are expected to ensure our projects meet schedule...if they don't, EVERYONE hears about how you're slowing the outage and costing the company 2.4 million dollars profit a day...not a position.
The chart works well for the purposes you outline. I'm not sure how appropriately Gantt charts function in other situations, but this is a helpful example to see one at work. Thanks for sharing it.
